HANNAH BUGG

I'm an artist (i think)
I am an undergraduate student at Hope College, finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Studio Art. I've been creative my whole life. From a young age, I was dabbling in writing, photography, and frankly, extremely clever and sophisticated comics.
As I've gotten older, I've begun to take my creative tendencies more seriously. Art history classes, studio courses covering everything from painting to sculpture to printmaking, and a dedicated sketchbook practice (okay, fine, not all that dedicated) have cultivated and shaped what being creative looks like for me now. My new creative interests include:
-
photography, particularly analog (the darkroom is my happy place)
-
cows of any and every kind
-
the conceptual line between painting and photography
-
comics that are even more clever and sophisticated
-
wrestling with what makes an Artist and what makes their work Art
